We've just moved to the neighbourhood and decided to check out Dumpling House, my partner and I tired and hungry from cleaning and moving.
The welcome was warm and friendly, the beer cold, and the food excellent. We had shredded pork in fish sauce over noodles, and pork mince and pickled cabbage dumplings in a spicy sauce. Good lord, it was delicious and plentiful. We slurped down the noodles and finished all the dumplings.
We've had some pretty mediocre Chinese food from another place, and we've had some very good South East Asian "fusion" food from two or three other places, but it's nice to find a spot that serves excellent food straight up. We will definitely be back to explore the menu.
Such amazing food. Had the best cumin lamb I’ve ever tried and it had lovely fresh veges with it. The chicken and corn soup hot and tasty. The kids loved the Xiao Long Bao and dumplings, exclaiming “These guys are real chefs!” and “These chefs make great food”.
Amazing customer service, so friendly.
Highly recommend for a fun and tasty family dinner. We will be back soon!
We love dumplings so we ordered Pork prawn dumplings and pork & chives dumplings, delicious.
Good customer service, not bad for the waiting time for your food to be serve.
Not to crowded compare to other dumpling eatery.
We are so happy to have chanced upon this restaurant, very friendly staff and good food! We ordered the hot and sour soup which was really good, we highly recommend that! Also the pan fried dumplings, steamed dumplings and xiao long bao were all delicious.
The best dumplings. Im vegeterian and the veggie ones were so good! My partner and friends eat meat and said they were hands down the best they had ever tried. My husband even said, " I can now understand the fuss about dumplings, they are like biggest if delicious flavour". We also loved the sides, the cucumber salad, noodles and homey tofu. The waitress was really friendly and funny. Restaurant very cozy and byo. Will be back!
